Do you want to be a Navy Nuke?

The U.S. Navy Nuclear Power Program is widely regarded as one of the most demanding technical training programs in the military. Students must master complex subjects such as reactor physics, thermodynamics, electrical engineering, and reactor operations in a very compressed time frame. The pace is intense, often requiring long study hours, frequent exams, and strict performance standards. The program’s difficulty is intentional, as it prepares sailors and officers to safely operate nuclear reactors aboard submarines and aircraft carriers, where precision, discipline, and technical competence are critical.
